How It Works
How it works
The GTH process takes you from product search to confirmed shipment in a clear, structured workflow. Here's what happens at every step.
Buyer Journey
For Buyers
-
01
Create Your Account
Register on catastico.eu. Every account is reviewed and approved before gaining full access to the marketplace. This keeps the platform trade-only, with no anonymous browsing and no low-quality enquiries.
-
02
Search the Marketplace
Browse products using filters such as species, dimensions, quality grade, country of origin, and supply status. Every listing includes detailed specifications, so you know exactly what you're evaluating before making contact.
-
03
Submit an RFQ
When you find a product that matches your requirements, submit a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Specify the quantity, required lead time, delivery terms, and any documentation needed to comply with EUDR or customs requirements.
-
04
Review the Quote
The seller responds with pricing, availability, and lead time. You can ask questions, request revisions, accept the quotation, or decline it. All communication, comments, and revision history are securely recorded within the platform.
-
05
Confirm the Order
Once both parties agree on the terms, a sales order is created. Payment terms, packaging requirements, shipping details, and delivery conditions are confirmed at this stage.
-
06
Documents & Shipment
The seller uploads shipping documents, certificates, and compliance records directly to the sales order. You can track the shipment status in real time and access all related documents from your dashboard.
Seller Journey
For Sellers
-
01
Register and Get Verified
Apply for a seller account on catastico.eu. GTH reviews your business information, certifications, and supporting documentation before approving your account. This verification process protects buyers from fraudulent sellers and helps maintain the quality and credibility of the marketplace.
-
02
List Your Products
Add your products by specifying the species, product type, dimensions, quality grade, moisture content, available quantity, country of origin, supply status, and lead time. Include product photos, certifications, and any additional information that highlights the quality and value of your products.
-
03
Receive Buyer RFQs
When a buyer is interested in your products, you'll receive a Request for Quotation (RFQ) through the platform. Each RFQ includes the buyer's requirements, such as quantity, lead time, delivery terms, and certification requirements.
-
04
Submit Your Quote
Respond with your quotation, product availability, pricing, and commercial terms. You can negotiate directly with the buyer through the platform's comment system, while GTH administrators are available to assist with coordination whenever needed.
-
05
Confirm and Process the Order
Once the buyer accepts your quotation, the sales order is confirmed. Prepare the goods, arrange shipment, and upload the required documentation according to the agreed terms.
-
06
Upload Shipping and Compliance Documents
Upload all required legal compliance and shipping documents, including procurement compliance records, packing lists, and bills of lading, in one secure location. Both you and the buyer can access and review these documents directly from the sales order page.

FAQ
Questions about the process
An RFQ (Request for Quotation) is a formal request a buyer sends to a seller through the GTH platform. It includes the product specification, required quantity, lead time, and any specific documentation requirements. The seller responds with pricing and availability.
This depends on the seller's lead time and the shipping route. Most sellers list their lead time on the product page. Once an order is confirmed, standard shipping from Indonesia or Thailand to Europe takes approximately 20 to 35 days by sea.
GTH supports V-Legal (SVLK / FLEGT) certificates from Indonesia, FSC chain-of-custody documentation, packing lists, bills of lading, and custom documentation required for EUDR due diligence statements.
All trade-related communication is encouraged to stay within the platform to maintain a complete record. The comment and change history system means both parties always have a clear audit trail.
